Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Oslo | Welcome to the capital city of Norway

  • Arrive at the Oslo Airport and get ready with the necessary documentation for the immigration process.
  • It will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending upon the people in the queue.

  • After the immigration process, take public transport (bus) or preferably train to reach the Oslo City Center.
  • Arrive at the hotel in Oslo, proceed with the check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  • You can stroll around the streets of Oslo, spending the afternoon at sights like the Royal Palace, Oslo City Hall, Oslo Opera House, and the Aker Brygge area on your own.

    Day 2 : Oslo to Trondheim by Train | A journey that passes through Dovre mountain plateau

    Transfers: Dovrebanen train | Duration: 6.5 hours

  • Head out early to the Oslo Train Station to board the Dovrebanen train for a 6.5 hours journey to Trondheim

  • The train will pass over the well-known Gudbrandsdalen valley and the beautiful Dovre mountain plateau through historic towns and nature preservation and offers great variations in terrain and altitude
  • Dovre mountain plateau is home to 300 wild musk ox, if you are lucky enough you may witness one from your seat
